Terms and conditions of replacements, refunds, cancellations and warranty;

Refunds
A refund will be issued if the goods are un-wanted, providing the product is returned unused and in its original packaging. This does not apply to special orders, or to specially priced items. Any shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.

These terms and conditions state that we do not offer refunds outside of the seven days grace period.

The purpose of these terms and conditions and the warranty is to make good any warrantied part that fails due to manufacturing defect during the warranty period. The bike or bike part will not necessarily be replaced or money refunded if such a bike or bike part fails as described. The bike or bike part will be repaired or replaced at our sole discretion, this will not extend the warranty beyond its original term.

Bespoke bike are built to order and are therefore not returnable.

Cancellation:
You may cancel your order within seven days of purchase, however, you will be liable for any shipping fees as a result of this cancellation and the item must be returned unused, in it’s original packaging, unopened and in a re-saleable condition

 

Delivery:
Delivery is usually three working days from payment on all stock items, however, we will notify you if the delivery is going to take longer than this.

Please contact us for additional shipping charges if purchasing in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Highlands, Non UK Mainland Areas of the British Isles, Europe and other parts of the world. The terms and conditions may vary outside the UK please contact us in these circumstances

Before accepting delivery you must check for any damage or missing parts before signing for it. If the goods are accepted and signed for without written comment. Then no claim can be made at a later time.

If you sign for the goods with out inspection and subsequently find that the bike has been damaged in transit you will be unable to make a claim. If you are not sure, sign for the delivery as damaged anyway. Signing “unchecked” is not sufficient. The safest thing to do is to sign for it “damaged” whether it appears to be damaged or not

Just signing to accept the delivery means that you accept that the bike is being delivered in perfect condition. Having signed as in that way you cannot later claim that the bike was damaged or that there were parts missing. You must either check the bike before accepting it, or sign for it as damaged

For buyers outside the UK please note that the currency is GBP.

Assistance can be offered if you do not feel confident with assembly of any of our products. Further charges may apply.

 

Faulty/Damaged goods:
If you receive your goods and they are damaged or faulty in any way, the terms and conditions state that you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt.

Warranty terms and conditions

The warranty on all LifeCycle Electric Bikes is
Two years on the frame and all mechanical parts except the consumable parts, tyres tubes and brake pads, and blocks, and one year on all electrical parts including the battery.

DURATION: We are 100% committed to customer service so therefore we offer a maximum warranty period, subject to certain conditions, set out below. Under this warranty we are not responsible for any losses to you or any third party resulting from the malfunction or failure of the product, and we are not responsible for any accidental damage to the product

THE WARRANTY: Within the given warranty, at our sole discretion, we will supply new parts, or replace or repair the existing parts. This will not extend the warranty beyond its original term.

The warranty does not apply to bikes that are used for renting or loaning. In these circumstances please contact us directly

THE WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.

PLEASE NOTE THE BATTERY WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

The battery warranty is to cover a manufacturing fault in the battery that prevents it from working.
By their nature batteries loose some of their power as they older and more used. This is not a fault, it is the way that all batteries behave. Batteries will lose around 15% to 20% of their power each 12 months this is normal wear.
Batteries that have lost power in this way are not faulty, and therefore cannot be exchanged under the warranty.

THE WARRANTY ON THE BATTERY ONLY COVERS FUNCTANILITY NOT CAPACITY. 

THE BATTERY WARRANTY APPLIES TO BATTERIES WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD THAT FAIL TO WORK.

AS BATTERIES GET OLDER THEY LOSE POWER AND WILL NEED RECHARGING SOONER. BATTERIES THAT ARE OVER ONE YEAR OLD WILL NOT PERFORM AS WELL AS BATTERIES THAT ARE NEW. THIS IS A FEATURE OF ALL BATTERIES. IF A BATTERY IS WEARING DOWN DUE TO AGE OR USE, IT WILL NOT BE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY.

IF A BATTERY FAILS AND IS REPLACED OR REPAIRED UNDER WARRANTY THIS WILL NOT EXTEND THE WARRANTY BEYOND ITS ORIGINAL TERM.

If the Bike and/or defective parts need to be returned to us for repair. We do not cover shipping costs, all warranties require that the product be returned with the defective part at the customers expense, the customer is then liable to collect the product themselves or pay shipping costs.

These terms and conditions state that any repair or replacement is entirely at our discretion.

After the warranty period ends we will continue to assist you with any problems that you may you encounter but all replacement parts and any servicing costs would be at your own expense.

The terms and conditions state that this warranty covers manufacturing defects and the repair or replacement of defective parts only. It does not cover any damage howsoever caused.

The warranty does not cover any repairs not carried out by LifeCycle or Electric Bike World or their agents without written permission.

THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATE THAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY REPAIRS TO ANY PART OF THE BIKE THAT HAVE BEEN DAMAGED BY THE INCORRECT SERVICING OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY PART OR PARTS NOT CARRIED OUT BY LIFECYCLE OR ELECTRIC BIKE WORLD OR ITS AUTHORISED AGENTS.

THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATE THAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
Punctures, Plastic parts, break pads, tyres, Spokes or spoke nipples, corrosion, or damage to any part of the product due to abuse or misuse.
Labour that occurs outside of our facility.
Parts damaged by accidents, neglect, misuse, abuse, or lack of lubrication with the correct oil.
Damage caused by a non-covered part or by any part not purchased from our facility.
Products that have NOT been regularly checked and serviced as highlighted in conditions.
NOTE: We reserve the right to determine what damage is due to defective materials and what is due to product abuse or misuse. Misuse includes leaving the bike covered in mud and dirt. Not keeping the bike lubricated with the correct oil. Using incorrect lubricants such as WD40

FAULTS: Faults must be reported immediately by phone, writing, email or in person. We will assess the problem and try to rectify without the need for you to send the product back to us to help save time. If possible, will send out a replacement part or parts, to be fitted by yourselves with guidance from us. If the problem is found to be due to neglect or not covered under the warranty then we shall fix the problem at our current prevailing hourly rate, plus the cost of any replacement parts. If the parts sent out are subsequently unwanted, then a partial refund shall be made less our administration and handling costs, and the delivery and subsequent collection of the parts.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Upon purchase of all products, they must be thoroughly checked to ensure that no nuts or bolts have become loose or dropped out in transit. The same check should be carried out prior to each ride of the product, thus ensuring long-term durability.
We advise that all products are ridden with adequate safety clothing ie; helmets and lights etc. LifeCycle Electric Bikes must always be ridden in safe and a responsible manner and the bikes must not be abused for the warranty to be valid. LifeCycle electric bikes should be ridden with due care and attention for your own safety and that of the public.

DISCLAIMER STATEMENT: The Company shall not be liable for any damage or injury caused to the customer, or memberes of the public by the use of any of the goods we sell. It is the customers responsibility to ensure the correct item(s) have been purchased and used in the way intended. It is the customers responsibility to check that the bikes and any other part or parts are in proper working safe order before each use. This covers all goods sold from our company. The Companies liability will be limited to the value of the goods only and not for any consequential damages, injuries or losses howsoever caused.

The range and distances quoted are achieved under ideal conditions and may not be achieved in general use.

No information is ever shared with others, not even with other Electric Bike World Staff, and our computer sales records are protected by sophisticated encryption software for your safety.
