The Axcess Shetland Folding Electric Bike has a sturdy step-through frame with the same power and drive as our full-sized bikes.

This folding frame has been designed to maximize rider comfort. Being 2” longer than many similar looking bikes, the forward curved handlebar gains a further 3” of leg room again improving the riding position. Chunky 2.1”tyres give good grip on paths and tracks.

A new motor is fitted for 2019 with re-programmed smooth electronic controller, and upgraded handlebar display. The pedal assist rotor has been moved to the bottom bracket and cuts in almost immediately. A Walk Start Thumb throttle also powers the bike to 15 mph when the pedals are turning.

The batteries are constructed using Samsung cells for long lasting performance.

This bike is available with two batteries, the standard 10.4 Ah battery is £1150 and the upgraded 15.6 Ah battery is £1350.
